Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use SofIA we collect:

• Your WhatsApp phone number (to identify you)
• Information you share in conversation: name, city, profession, time in Canada
• The contacts and coffee chat notes you register with SofIA
• Your recent conversation history (rolling 20-message window + compressed summary)
• Your email, if you provide it in the waitlist or mentor registration form

How we use your information

• To personalize your conversations with SofIA
• To send you reminders before and after your coffee chats
• To generate your profile and let you export your contacts
• To contact you if you registered on the waitlist or as a mentor (see contact section)

AI processing

SofIA's responses are generated by Claude, Anthropic's AI model, through their API. Your conversations are sent to Anthropic to generate responses. Anthropic does not use API conversations to train their models. We do not use your data to train any AI model. You can read Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

Email contact

If you provide your email in the waitlist or mentor registration form, you agree to be contacted by the SofIA team regarding your request. You can opt out at any time by replying to any email with "unsubscribe" or by writing to sandritamlz@gmail.com. We do not share your email with third parties.

Where your data is stored

• Google Cloud Firestore — stores your profile, contacts, and conversation history (region: US)
• Twilio — delivers and receives WhatsApp messages
• Google Cloud Run — runs the application
• Anthropic (Claude API) — processes conversations to generate responses

Your rights

• Export your data — tell SofIA "export my contacts" on WhatsApp to get a link to your full profile with CSV download
• Delete your data — email sandritamlz@gmail.com and we'll remove your information within 7 days
• Stop receiving reminders — tell SofIA "no more reminders" at any time
• Leave the mentor directory — use the opt-out link you received when registering, or write to us
